TERMS.

Last updated: July 26, 2026

1. Who this agreement is with

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Switchlo, operating out of India ("Switchlo", "we", "us"), the operator of the Switchlo API router and dashboard (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, generating an API key, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. What the Service does

Switchlo is an API router: you send OpenAI-compatible chat completion requests to our endpoint, and we forward them to a third-party large language model provider you've connected (for example Groq, Cerebras, or Google Gemini), with automatic failover between providers you've configured. Switchlo does not train, host, or operate the underlying models — we route requests to them.

You are responsible for your own accounts and API keys with those third-party providers, and for complying with each provider's own terms of service and acceptable use policies. Switchlo has no control over, and disclaims responsibility for, the content, availability, accuracy, or behavior of any third-party model's output.

3. Accounts and API keys

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your Switchlo API keys confidential. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account and your keys, whether or not you authorized it, except to the extent caused by our own negligence. Tell us immediately if you believe a key has been compromised — you can revoke and regenerate keys at any time from your dashboard.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that is illegal, or that facilitates illegal activity
  • Generate child sexual abuse material in any form, under any circumstances
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan quotas, or provider budget controls through automated means or multiple accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it
  • Use the Service in a way that violates the acceptable use policy of any connected third-party provider (Groq, Cerebras, Google, or any other provider you connect)

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice, depending on severity.

5. Fees, billing, and plans

Free plan usage is subject to the request limits described on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis through Paddle.com, our payment processor and merchant of record — meaning Paddle, not Switchlo, is the seller for billing, tax, and payment-dispute purposes. By subscribing to a paid plan, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.

We may change plan pricing or request limits going forward; we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active subscribers before a price change takes effect on their next billing cycle.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to the prompts you send and the completions you receive through the Service. You're solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit whatever content you send, and for how you use the output.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Switchlo's failover routing reduces — but cannot eliminate — the impact of an underlying provider's outage, since we can only route to providers you've connected and that are themselves online.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM THIRD-PARTY PROVIDER OUTPUT, OUTAGES, OR DATA LOSS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where reasonably possible, notify active users. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that the courts located in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
